A 1:2:1 NPK ratio (6-12-6, 15-30-15) is good for flowering. It doesn't really matter too much which brands you use, I happen to like Miracle-Gro and Peter's but they do the same thing as anything else.

You can read all about organics by clicking here...but I would rather use chems.

What are you doing digging up a two and a half year old thread? Just to argue? Those people aren't even around anymore.

Organics are clearly without a doubt by far the best.

IMO.

Now let's all get stoned and play ping pong.

Wow! TCC there you go again bumping another Warloc thread, its a pity he hasnt been on here for so long isnt it

An interesting topic none the less...

For the record I think people who mix less than 200 gallon amounts of fertilizer do so often out of a lack of understanding of basic fertigation composition and do so more out a desire to percieve some false sense of control over their feeding programs. The risk of defficiency in small batches is well known thus the practise is discouraged and rarely in the last 10 years have I seen any proven cannabis cultivators online advocate doing so. With the right understanding of both mineral salts and organics a knowledgeable grower can produce superb crops with whats commercialy available on the market. All the plants I have seen that come from home prepared mineral salt fertilizer mix's have presented with deficiencies resulting from lack of underatanding and insufficient quantites of the raw salts being prepared. Basic mistakes fueled by over enthusiastic growers

Being a hydro grower I am very fortunate in able to utilize a Cannabis specific nutrient and one in which millions of dollars of research and investment capital has gone into, its called 'Canna' in case you are ever interested in trying it, via the website you can obtain their research documentation as well as a 2 hour video on commerical scale nutrient production and its demonstrated benefit over home recipies and 'closet' scale fertigation preparation.

Grow On!

is this ratio ok for flowering?
permalink

Hi guyz,
I'm using a brand of fert called "Manutec". Its a bloom fert and it's ratio is 6.2:14.6:16.8.

Is this suitable because u guyz have been saying that 1:2:1(or that ratio) is what u should e using during flowering.

Any answers would be greatly appreciated because I am really worried my budz won't get big enough.

Thanx guyz, Reggie

What you have should work just fine. I prefer a 1-2-2 NPK ratio during flowering and yours is not too far from that.

I found the thread delta started on raw salts. It all sounds very interesting, and cost efficient... if you can get the mix right. Hopefully he comes back and finishes explaining.
