lensman, it's funny, you remind me of a friend of mine, and he certanly is not a first time grower, so surelly you can't be him, as he knows that answers from top to bottom...

Anyway, When you're using a soil mix as i do, it already contains ferts for about 4/6 weeks, and i transplant within those periods, so nutes are just addicional.

From what i've tryed (several plants in the sam pot for 4 moths, only with watter), it's noticeble the lack of vigour, the growth is much slower, and the plants much more sensitive to changes.
Purple steam apeared, but not much then that
I'll have to test for more time...

well i am gradually tring to fig this out right quick on a tight schedule, movin soon .. so i am trying to be proactive and figure out everything i can in the first month and avoid the mistakes i read about here .. which of course is the second best way of figurin this stuff out ..

so far i think i found just about verything i need on here .. the grow guides need more detail tho . soooo many overfert their first time out it sounds like ..

BD posted a bunch of links in another post that i think cover most of it ..

[i don't know anyone in europe sooo... ]

oh, turns out the one i was most worries about is a N deficiency .. its gotten green again .. and regained some of that bluish shine .. and its starting to suck water like mad .. keepin my fingers crossed ..

[background 3 plants all different strains, different growth styles, colors, internodals etc .. Nothing similar between them so i can't compare things as well as a single strain person] next expiriment .. bonsai clones for when i move =) *crossed fingers*
