I was wondering if regular miracle-grow is ok to use as fert? It is 15-30-15. People say to use 1/4 does and then slowly move up to full . Is this right? Any help would be great. Thanks.

that is a 1-2-1 ratio. For veg you will want a 2-1-1 ratio or a 3-1-1 ratio. Try some 30-10-10 to give your plant some extra Nitogen. You are very correct about starting out at 1/4 strength and slowly moving up to full strength.

sure, m-g is pretty good stuff. i swear by it.

has anybody mentioned to be careful with it? YEP, and don't exceed ONE TEASPOON per gallon, and it'll work great.

you'll hear a lot of the old timers *****ing about m-g. but the truth is, they just don't like the (yes, i agree) stupid advertising campaign. sure, there's better ferts available, but m-g works just fine.
