![]() | I recently got some Miracle Gro potting soil. My question is, should I plant my new MJ (from seed) directly into pure Miracle Gro or should I mix the soil with some extra perlite (its got some in there already), and some of the coconut brick I have, or some other stuff? Also, does anyone know the NPK ratio of Miracle Gro (I cant find it on the bag)?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, surprise surprise, it's me again ![]() You're overthinking this, SG - just wing that mother! It ain't rocket science. You have enough info now to start experimenting...remember that nobody has the last word on any particular technique or formulation, we all use what works for us. We're all experimenting here. Try mixing 1/2 soil, and 1/4 each of perlite and coco fiber (try to break it up into bits if you can.) then see how it works and share your experiences with others here. You will have to add some nutrients to it, because the MG won't be enough on its own, but you can probably wait for at least 3 weeks which will give you enough time to locate some. Sounds like you have a good start, now go! organic ![]()
