so i had some problems with my plants...odd yellowing...i think it is/was a zinc deficiency...checked the pH...about 7.5...got me some liquid soil acidifier (with some minerals, etc.)...using pre-packaged soil mix that i believe has trace elements...was ferting with just blood meal tea, but i am afraid that i am depriving my babies of other necessary nutes...i've had some MG "all-purpose" 15-30-15 that i was thinking of using along with the blood meal...if i mix roughly half the recommended amount of the MG into my blood meal tea, am i gonna be helping my plants, hurting them, or wasting my time? i know you're supposed to introduce nutes slowly (i.e. 1/4 strength then increase gradually) but they were exposed to the MG for a couple feedings once they were about 2", so i don't know if going straight to half strength (plus the 12-0-0 from the blood meal) is gonna bother them...also, is the MG gonna do anything for keeping the soil kinda acid? i don't know what originally got me alkaline, but i recall hearing that urea nitrogen along with synthetic nutes have a tendency to acidify things...thanks for the help...
