![]() | OK, first I went and bought some all purpose Miracle-Gro, but with the 15-30-15 ratio I thought it would be best to use this later when my plants are flowering. So then I found some Alaska fish fertilizer. I've heard that it's supposed to be a good one, but now I'm sitting here reading the label on the back of the bottle and I see no listing for micronutients. Am I missing something? Do I have to supplement micronutrients also if I use the fish stuff or is it all in there? Also how much of it do I want to mix with how much water. My babies are about three weeks old and have yet to be fertilized.

![]() ![]() ![]() | The fish fert is great stuff for young plants. It's 4-1-1 and has sulfur, but as far as I know it doesn't have many other micronutes. What kind of soil are you growing in? It might provide some extra nutes. You might mix the two together, as the high P levels in the Miracle Gro will aid in increased root development. Just use a very dilute (1/8 strength) solution of MG along with 1/2 strength (as listed on the bottle) fish fert to start with, then gauge your subsequent feedings according to how they react to the feeding. How are they looking so far? rganic

![]() | My plants are about 5 weeks old now. The leaves on them are yellowing badly. I've been using Miracle Grow on them. I've never had this problem before and don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?

![]() ![]() ![]() | yeah, rainey, try posting that question over in the Nursery forum. ![]() next time, if you have a new topic like that, go ahead and start a new thread instead of posting on the end of someone else's. one topic per thread is what we shoot for here. ![]() rganic
