Hey everyone, well we are germinating our seeds now, and we just found 2 ferts we could use. One is Miracle Grow NPK: 15-13.1-12.4 Can someone tell me what to use this for, (vege, bud?) and how much it says 1 tsp for 4 litres, so 1/4 tsp for 4 litres? The other is called Nitrosoil NPK: 8-3-6. What can this be used for, and which one would be better?? I know for veg its supposed to be twice as much N as P&K, neither of these have that so yeah i dunno some guidance please That would help a lot Schmoke

As for the Nitrogro, if you have access to a hyrdo store you could mix it with bat guano 8-4-1 and have a good vegging mix at 16-7-7. Take a look around in the Plant Food & Nutrients forum you will find alot of useful info there. FoxFarm has a good line of products for nutes. Check out the nutrients at 4hydroponics.com Good Luck!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey, thanks for that i think im just gonna go with miracle grow, i heard its good even though its NPK isnt ideal. I dont live in the US and i dont really want to go online to buy stuff. And im not too sure how available bat guano is in New Zealand. I suppose i could have a look but just out of those 2 mixes, i think im gonna go with miracle gro. Schmoke ![]()

I found a fertiliser we used to use in our hydroponic tomatoes. Its called Thrive and its NPK ratio is 27-5.5-9. At the moment i think ill go with miracle gro unless that one is better, i dont really feel like buying anything since we have 3 types of fert sitting there. Schmoke
