I have used Peters 10-50-10 with good results, but as penguin has stated the K is a little scarce. Once my box is used up I plan to order this bag: 10-30-20 . Give me another few months to use it up and then I'll have a lifetime supply on hand.

Nice! I put mine out in june when they were tiny. I plant later there or they'al get way too big...and stand out alot more. I put some out in early may once and they grew taller than the fence lol. They looked like pine trees.

Hey..is it legal ta' grow were your located..or is your neighbor cool..or naive?

One time a neighbor seen mine.. and paid a compliment. She said they looked pretty. She musta' known what they were..hmm not sure though. And I did'nt bother asking

Not on Cannabis, shrubz. I used to grow acres of plants at a wholesale nursery and we used the 10-30-20 for our blooming plants - azaleas, spireas, buddleias, weigela - all kinds of things. The 10-30-20 only comes packaged in 25 lb. bags and sells for about $30 US + shipping. I have no doubt that it will work well.

I put a 6-12-6 miracle grow spike in my 1 1/2 month old plant, is that good or bad. I also put the same miracle grow spike in a 1 month and a week plant, but the younger plant doesnt seem to have responded to the fert strongly, as a matter of fact it really hasnt grown all that much faster or better since i put the fert in. Should i apply as said on the box or stop applying to the smaller plant just in case it might have some adverse effect??

I am not a fan of fertilizer spikes. There is no way to tell how much fertilizer they are releasing and how quickly or slowly it is being released. Pull the spikes and get a water soluble fertilizer. Peters brand is a better choice than Miracle Gro.
