What are you useing for chemical budding nutes this time around? And have you used it before? If so, how were your results? I used shultz 2-7-7 cactus food last 2 grows and faired out pretty well both times. I got way over the recommended dosage with it and not once did I burn my plants. I'm wondering if I should try something else this time. Or continue useing the cactus food, and try something else along with it to see wich plants do better? yea yea..thats what I'll do.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've never tried miracle grow. More people seem to dislike the stuff, this is true. Nor have I ever tried foliage feeding. Is that a safe practice while mj is in bloom? Could the added moisture create mold issues? I guess it would depend on conditions, and when you spray them right?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm useing some tomorite 4.5-5-5 on the outdoor plants, i'm i bit low on my normal nutes and would prefere not to use it outside, my plants arnt very far into flower at all so i cant tell ya how it performs (someone on here used it before, johnief i think) For vegging i used some cheap seaweed stuff i picked up at a £££ store, very high in N its something like 49-15-10, was useing it as a foliar feed (plus normal feed) until a few weeks ago and it made the plants very bushy, been trying to find more, for the price i paid this stuff was pretty good

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is at least the 3rd post I've seen with people using cactus fertilizers for MJ and I'm not sure what the fascination is with them. They are relatively low in percentages of ferts and with fewer micronutes than general purpose ferts. I wouldn't use them at all but that's just my personal opinion. You need a fert with higher P for flowering. Peters 10-50-10 is what I'm using on my outdoor Mazars and they love it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Mj seems to thrive on the shultz. I've seen humongous buds grown with it. I have tried the petes 10 50 10 also, as well as plant prod with similar npk counts.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I recently got back from home depot. Shultz has the catus fert with a ratio of 10-50-10 with micro nutes also. It was'nt shelved the last time so maybe they just started producing it? I like the fact that it's seems impossible to burn plants with it. The recommended dose is 8 drops per qt, wich is approximately 1/3 of a full dropper. I've been up to 4 full droppers per qt with no problem. I'm sure I could of went up from there, but my plants were finished by then.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 2-7-7 is good N-P-K for flowering. Personally I like 2-3-3. In my opinion, 10-50-10 (1-5-1) doesn't provide nearly enough potassium. ![]() penguin
