Anyone use it/try it? Just ordered some, figured I'd check it out. Has something like 72 minerals, and it is silicone-based. Probably try it with half my crop next time. Anyway, just wondering what the rest of it's users thought about it. Thanks for any info RARE EARTH

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I do. ![]() When I put it on the soil (top dress) I did not work it into the soil. When it was first moistened it turned into something along the lines of thinset mortar. Once it dried it crusted up and could be broken apart into chunks. I did not use anymore after that. I'm not sure how it would work for hydroponics. My recommendation: Silica Blast... or any other "liquid" silicon supplement for either soil or hydroponics. ape ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've gone through a tub of Rare Earth... I believe it consists of leonardite & agri-mineral 72, which consists of a good amount of humic acid, silica, & trace minerals (72 I believe... lol).Good stuff for soil & even hand watered soiless, maybe even a top dress in a drain- to- waste? However, I agree in hydro applications you'de be better off to go w/ Potassium Silicate, & liquid Humic/Fulvic supps - all being soluble. If you don't want to use the bag provided & use the powder straight, you can dissolve your amount to be used in your fert watering mix in a seperate bowl/glass. Swirl & stir it around until dissolved, then as it settles, pour it back into your watering container. This will pull out quite a bit of insolubles that can be used as top dressings, that would have otherwise been mostly wasted.
