I second what CrazyTrain said and I to use the all Organic Soil Mix per Profounds Journal and there are the components in his signature to. But I can List it from memory as I have made a bunch: Go Find Profounds he details what each component does for your plant it is awesome.

Recent Soil Mixture for Transplant was alot of volume (for me). Consisted of : 20gals Fox
Farm Ocean Forrest potting soil, 4gals Wiggle Worm Earth worm Castings, Calls for
12 gals of Perlite but I went with the larger sized Perlite and 12 gals seemed to be to
much so I scaled it back to 8 gals, 24 ML Bone Meal, 24 ML Bone Meal, 48 ML dolemite
lime, 26 ML of Kelp, 24 Ml of Mexican Bat Guano, 48 Jamacain Bat Guano, 100 ML
Neptunes Crab Shell (21 % calcium). I bought two big bags of Fox Farm Ocean Forrest
but ran out so I used 100% organic cow manure to stretch it becasue it has sand in it as
well. This brand had no smell.

Have to make everything as complicated as possible?? I use a bagged coco/peat mix. Inert, With vermiculite (or is it prelite? Black gold coco) Its perfect for some big rootballs. And its nicknamed waterhold, can water every 'other' day up to last week. GH nutes. Done

Mix #1... Premier, Promix BX (nothing added)

Mix #2... Acadia Gardens, Sea Compost/around 50% perlite

Mix #1 are now planted directly into the ground and Mix #2 are in 5 gallon buckets in that same mix.

Regardless of the renown of Promix i had alot of pH issues with it this year. The Acadia gardens has been very low maintinence. Just watered as normal. "set it and forget it"
