Advanced Nutrients question.
permalink

Hey, I'm looking into using Advanced nutrients Sensi A & B bloom. Im gonna have about 100 gallon res. I'm just wondering how much of this stuff people order (amount). Its pretty pricy. I mean $190 for about 6 gallons is a bit of $$ vs. Gen hydro products.

My res is 100 gal / roughly... I still purchase by the gallon of the feed & bloom. But I make trips to the hydro store for one thing or another all the time. I purchase in 10L/2.5gallon bottles when I've got the extra cash.

Honestly though, when I'm trying out a new nutrient for the first time. I only buy a quart of it. I've got various quarts of unused nutrients layin around

but heck, if you've got the money. have used & are sure you like the nutrient. Purchase a 5 gallon container. It'l save ya $ in the long run.

Never having used advanced nutrients myself. I cant give ya much info. Many people feel they're overpriced versions of the same thing, others swear by them... Honestly you have to try them yourself to find out how they work for yah

Im sitting here pondering over and over again which nutrients to use. People tell me this and people tell me that. For the price and ease of use what is the best program of nutrients to use for a semi-newb hydroponic grower. I mean GH is the shit and I know what I'm doing with it but then I dont know if I can add any extra additives to boost my yields. So whats so good about all these additives anyways?? I mean do people ACTUALLY see a significant result from using these things. I.E. Overdrive by AN. Cause when you look at whats in these things, its just N-P-K with some magnesium. Guess what, GH micro and flora have those exact same things in similar proportions! I mean WTF, IM GOING NUTS HERE PEOPLE, SAAAAVVE ME!!!!

Well this is kind of funny but I use both, no not at the same time but YES in the same growing cycle.

Sometimes, and I montior my plants everyday, I will switch out GH with Sensi bloom/grow depending on what I am seeing. For one thing GH sucks as maintaing PH levels and I have found that Sensi bloom or Grow rock at maintaing PH levels. I have had similar results with Sensi Grow and Bloom as with GH's 3 part series but, Sensi is the better product because when I harvest after a Sensi nute run I have better smelling bud, better tasting bud out of the vapo and more potent bud, in my opinion. Many people swear by GH and I like to swap inbetween them and it seems to work out well.

Why not just use Sensi Bloom/Grow? They are pretty expensive yo!

Well my personal experiance with AN is AWESOME! I would tell anyone who wants to use them, go ahead and use them. They are great. Alot who slam it have never ever used them period. I do not use overdrive but know a greenthumb that does and his buds look freaky good. I have only used the organic line products and if my growshop dude still carried them I would be using them again. You can use other stuff as in GH and get great results too. Will you notice a difference? Not sure. Are AN worth the coin? I sure think so. The best tasting weed I have ever smoked was my last grow which used the most AN products I have ever used.

One word of warning with AN: You must use R/O water with them. All of the research they do is with R/O water. The results they rave about are with using R/O. So word of warning is to use the R/O water.

Keep it green.
