since the lowryder i plan on growing for personal use is autoflowering i figured i dont need a long veg fert, so i was thinking about getting some Alaskan fish emulsion for the short time it is veg (only 1-22 days from sprout) after that i plan on using Pure Blend Pro bloom nutrients to finish this off. these will be planted in Fox Farms Ocean Forest organic soil with some added earthworm castings. in the beginning i plan on bubbling earthworm castings with water and molasses for about a week to build up beneficial bacteria, then the day it sprouts i will water it with that mix. tell me what u all think of this idea?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sounds good to me... A couple of things I can see that I would think about... Add 1 part perlite for 3 parts soil if you didn't do that... you'll want it to drain easily and not hold too much moisture. Eathworms castings and mollasses - sounds pretty good, but you'll want to use a bloom fert w/ higher P levels... If you added some jamacian or indonesion bat guano (both are pretty high in P) the the castings and mollasses, you'd have a decent organic tea. Blackstrap mollases has good levels of potassium, calcium and magnesium to go along with the carbo benefits. Hope that helps some ![]()

![]() | thanks for the advice dangerEd, but i thought the Pure Blend Pro Bloom was more than enough to flower a plant alone? the NPK for it is 2.5-2-5 also does the worm castings and molasses bubbled in water provide, some kind of bacteria? is it the micorrhizal fungae? how bout changing the pureblend pro bloom to the soil formula, it had a good P ratio. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Oops, I didn't see the PBP info.... I have read great things about it, but never used it... I would assume that it is a complete fert. You could bubble the castings, molasses and PBP together. I dont know about what beneficial bacteria we are trying to grow for our plants, but what your doing sounds good to me. I usually mix up whatever I am going to use and let it bubble for a couple of hours before use. I dont know if a week would be any better or not...? interesting idea... One thing that I noticed on my mollases... I have two different kinds and one is much more sutrient rich then the other. Potassium- Grandma's = 150mg Wholesome = 730mg Calcium Grandma's = 4% dv (about 45mg) Wholesome = 115mg Iron Grandma's = 4% dv wholesome = 15% dv Wholesome also has Mg and B vitamins listed, while grandma's does not. Wholesome is USDA organic and fair trade certified...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Get the PBP soil formula one if your in soil.. Its got the extra P in there to supplement for soil growing plants. I think its NPK is 2.5 - 4 - 5 (the hydro version has less because plants in hydro generally dont require as much P as ones in soil do) even though im only a hydro grower - I keep some of the pbp bloom soil around for foliar feeding clones. its great for promoting roots. -ab
