GH Flora and Flowering Clones
permalink

I recently adopted 25 or so Great White Shark clones and potted them in 2gal pots with Black Gold soil. I've been using Gh flora nutes and so far they're loving it at twice the reccomended strength. They've been flowering since the day they left the clone chamber.

My question is this: they've been flowering fo about 2.5 weeks now and I've been giving them a general purpose grow mix.. should I switch to a P-heavy flower mix soon? They are only about 8-inches tall max at this point and I want to make sure they get enough nitrogen to reach they're full size without sacrificing any bud density since each plant isn't going to have more than one or two buds on it.

Also, does anyone have any experience using GH flora nutes in combination with Botanicare Sweet and Liquid Karma? I'm considering mixing in these organics with my chemicals, but I'm not sure if it's necessary or even safe for my babies.

I know very little about the needs of a transitioning plant, especially clone-sized transitioning plants.

Thanks for your all's input.

It is generally accepted that mixing chemical nutes and organic nutes is not recommended for several reasons.Again I use a higher N for 2 weeks after turning to flower. After that its a high P,K.I use tigerbloom and believe it to be 2-7-4.For the last 4 weeks I add FF-Bigbloom and blackstap molasses. Remember to PH the mix. Most of these fert.s are very low in PH.
