Hello All!! just opened the closet door today to find that two caterpillars wrapped themselves up in leaves. are they harmful and are they even caterpillars? heres a pic.....

Sure look like caterpillar to me and last i checked their diet consisted of leafy greens first thing is to figure out what kind of bugger u got on your hands, Buzz is good with insects, give him a ring, he might be able to help you...Cheers

It's a caterpillar. Harmful as in stinging or harmful as in eating your plant? Best to hand pick the ones you see and keep an eye out for more. If you want to use an organic control consider Bacillus thuringiensis. It is a bacteria that affects only caterpillars and it is harmless to humans. Dipel is the dust form and Thuricide is the liquid form.
