he since I transplanted all my clones the have developed an odd growth pattern they only have one or maybe two blades of a leaf. My mothers litteraly look like Basil plants right now and that has me a bit worried. Take a look at the picks and lemme know what you think is going on

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have also had this happen to me. I never did any research into it, but I noticed the conditions that I've seen it happen in: Flowering plants nearing the latter weeks of development Clones (coming out from new growth obviously) Plants just a-chillin'. I came to the conclusion that I had no definitive answer But I thought it might be due to phosporous deficiency since it happened in flowering plants (both mine and friend's) and clones which both often show P def. since the nutrient is greatly used by the plant in both applications. I also noticed that the stems and nearby stems weren't green but rather red to purple, which could be further indicative of P def. (though by no means definitively). But it has also happened to plants that seemed quite fine, so I thought: maybe some funky growth occurs every now and then, but I wasn't and still am not satisfied with this answer, seems to easy. Give us an overview of your grow thus far. Following the nursery guidelines helps everyone get an idea of your grow, which in turn helps limit the possibilities to a probable cause rather than guessing in the dark (or worse, what I'm doing ). There are many here who are much more helpful than I am.Truant

They will grow out of it and return to normal leaf arrangements in time. ![]()

![]() ![]() | Yeah going from flower to veg will definately make em grow single bladed leaves. But matty said it was after transplant. I have never heard of plant s doing that from transplanting though.

![]() | yeah they were taken from flowering mothers, about 2-3 weeks in cant remember off the top of my head. The cloned just fine and grew new sets in the cloner but yeah once they were out it all started like this. Better question what would you consider the max amount of time itd take to revert back to veg from flower? It just may be that they were transitioning and I might need to wait a week or more longer before I see new, normal growth again. They were in an ez-cloner for about 3 weeks before being transplanted. Other than this they are growing great, just like a normal plant, yet all these weird leaves. Also the mothers are using different nutes than the clones I put into flower but all 50+ of em are doing the same thing. Ill fill out the nursery questionaire though just to help Hydro Growers: 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? clones 2. How old are your plants? The clones are 5 weeks old 3. How tall are your plants? The mothers were transplanted a week early and they are about a foot tall ish the others are about 9-10 inches 4. What type of hydro system are you using? E&F for the clones, water farms for the moms 5. What brand/type of nutrients are you using? Sansi bloom and grow, clones and mothers respectively 6. Do you have a PPM/EC meter? yep 7. What is the PPM/EC of your tap water? Use RO on the moms its 0, tap in the e&f table is 60 8. What is the PPM/EC of your nutrient solution? 300 for both 9. What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? 75ish 10. Does your PPM/EC show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? Either the same or falling 11. Does your pH show a rise or fall when you do your daily check? Mothers rise a lot, clones are stable they might raise a little, but the res is also 115 gallons vs the 2 for a water farm 12. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 1000w HPS over the clones and 1000w MH over the moms on a 6 foot mover 13. How close are your lights to the plants? Moms, about 2 feet clones about 28 inches 14. What size is your grow space in square feet? They have more than enough room 15. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 75-80 and about 50% humidity 16. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? nope 17. How much experience do you have growing? enough

One of the most important qualities to have when growing is the virtue of patience. Every aspect of growing requires it, from germination all the way to trimming, drying, and curing. It's a hard thing to keep (believe ME ) all the way through a grow, especially those last couple of weeks of flowering where you see everything juicing up and you just wanna pluck some and smoke it![]() It's especially important to have patience through the difficult and frustrating times of a grow, such as waiting for a clone to revert or when recovering from a problem. It's like, you just want to do whatever you can to help your babies--but sometimes the best thing is to sit back and wait. Well anyway, that had nothing to do with what's goin' on, sorry mate. ![]() Truant

I ranked among the least patient of all known homo sapiens. My first grow was beseiged with over-care and constant manhandling, but over time I aquired patience and now can sit back and let Mother Nature do her thang!
