found about 3-4 of these on the stems... I suspect some kind of moth egg?

Two different ones, they break off easy and don't seem to do any damage... They are rigid not soft, seemingly hollow....

It looks like a drop of something in the one picture, almost like a sap... No idea.

There really is no right way to grow, you have to resonate with a style and learn what you can,
tweak it to your own style and raise the bar each grow... OD '07

Pretty sure it's not something that fell onto the stems they were put there by something, some are vertical and some are horizontal, with no indications that it came from above... I'm pretty sure it's not sap of anykind. When I knock the things off there's no underlying damage where sap may have been produced.

They seem to be hollow like an egg shell. I just don't wana see more of these things start poppin up(not something I wana smoke), and I really hope what ever comes out of them isnt gona eat or damage my already screwy plants...

I have been nailing down oak flooring all day. The cream colored orb is known as a death's head scale. Once they get established there is no control, and the plant slowly succumbs to their piercing/sucking mouth parts. The best thing to do now is send all of that smoke to me.

I have no idea what those things are in your pictures. I just wanted to yank on that chain I saw hanging from your left trouser cuff. Whatever the orb is has burst/hatched/died. The other thing is a whatdafugisdat. Nice pictures. Sorry I could not help you.

Oh well, if a mantis doesn't know what they are they can't be all that bad. I don't think I'll be seeing any problems from these things, although I'll keep my eyes pealed for any further infestation.
