Soil Growers: 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? seed 2. How old are your plants? 8 weeks 3. How tall are your plants? 3ft 4. What size containers are they planted in? 5 gallon bucket 5. What is your soil mix? Scotts Organic Potting Soil 6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use? when bucket is light; tap water 7. What is the pH of your water? 6.5 8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? Peters 20-20-20 9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? water 10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? 400W MH(HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 11. How close are your lights to the plants? 12 inches 12. What size is your grow space in square feet? 2 x 2.5 x 8 13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 75f 35%-45% RH 14. What is the pH of the soil? 6.2 15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? none 16. How much experience do you have growing? 2nd grow My problem is: I have been vegging this plant for about 8 weeks and it has become very well established. I have just started 12/12 this week and I'm already noticing some of the lower leaves deep within the canopy are beginning to yellow similar to the final stages of flowering. I dont think it is a PH problem because the rest of the plant is perfect with 35-40 tops. I can only think that the light is not filtering through to these bottom leaves and the plant is shedding them. But I'm no expert, so I pose the question to you guys... ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Greeny, I think you answered your own question. The plant will get rid of leaves it is not using and/or doesn't need. If those leaves aren't getting any light, the plant will eat them and toss them away. I wouldn't worry unless the new growth/tops start yellowing. That plant does look a bit hungry. What will you feed her in flower?

![]() ![]() | Freakshow... I have been feeding Peters 20-20-20 at every watering (1 x week) but more specifically, when the bucket is no longer heavy. This past feeding I gave a mixture of 1/8 Tsp 20-20-20 All Purpose & 1 Tsp 10-50-10 Super Blossom Booster per gallon. I had been using 1/4 Tsp per gallon of 20-20-20 (recommended dose) since week 3. And thanks for the reply. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | you may want to get something with less nitrogen for flowering. Pick up some Fox Farms Big Bloom or something along those lines. You may want to give them plain water for the next couple times you water them as well. Just to make sure this isn't the beginning of a nute lock out.

OK, I would recommend General Hydro FloraBloom from that list - according to the company, it can be used in soil as well as hydro. The Fox FArms products you listed are only additives to be used in conjunction with other regular flower nutes. If your hydro store carried some Fox Farms products, they shoul dbe able to order you some Big Bloom. But I would think the GH Flora Bloom would work nicely

![]() ![]() | I have the Flora Bloom now and will start applying after two "water-only" cycles. I have looked on the website and the product can be used in soil. The only problem is, they only give feeding dosage for hydro grows. Is there a formula to make the conversion? Or a chart for soil growers?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just start with 1/2 the recommended dosage and go up from there, depending on how the plants like it.
