![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey peeps, I've had a couple of these spots before now but it seems they've multiplied. What they are are white "dusty" spots, basically spots of white dust that can mostly be rubbed off of the leaves, under it there's yellow spots forming. They are mostly on the middle/top leaves. What I think it is is simply during the last feed the leaves were splashed with some of the nute water and droplets sat on the leaves, drying and leaving residue from the nutes, hence my ability to rub off a lot of the white stuff. To solve this I planned on just spraying down the two affected with some RO water and maybe continuing to rub 'em off. To further this theory, the two that have the spots were fed a higher nute-water ratio than the others. But, as I am still a little newbie, I figured why trust myself? Better ask the folks at GC. It doesn't look like there are any infestations.. I checked under the leaves for white flies and haven't seen any bugs yet. (knock on wood) Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() 1. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ack.. mildew... I didn't think it would be mildew or mold of any sort as the humidity has been on the low side recently. Then again temps at night when the lights are off have been low as well so.. I'll pick up some plant shield just in case. Other opinions?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | definately powdery mildew. pm does not need high humidity to thrive. i've been having great luck using a sulphur/seaweed spray. 4Tbs sulphur (safer's garden fungicide) 2Tbs maxicrop seaweed extract 1gal water. using a pump sprayer, spray every bit of the plant, top and undersides of every leaf, and all over the stems. i usually only have to spray them down every 3-4 weeks or so. it is important to note, do NOT use neem oil if using sulphur. it will burn your girls to a crisp. increasing the air circulation seems to help a bit as well. good luck. peace- arnold layne

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Allrighty... I wanted something 100% organic and not too stinky (i.e. not sulfur) and this was recommended as the best product aside from doing a whole $100+ sulfur burn. ![]() I'll be spraying the babies once a week until the end of the grow.. I'll let you guys know how it works out. Thanks again!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | the sulfur treatment didnt work well for me. i tried it, and got scared because it looked like i was burning the plants, and i couldnt have that, so i took my $100+ unit back to the store and got my money back.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ah Bob that makes me feel even better about the route I went.. I didn't like the idea of setting up a sulfur burn in my small space anyways.
