![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | they're either already in the soil you're using before you started, or introduced into your garden by something (yourself, dirty soil, uh, anything..) and they come from eggs. when the adults lay eggs on your plants they're usually around the veins on the underside of the leaves

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks Buzz,g13laze This particular spot: 19 floor apt 10 hydro DWC plants small apt, with carpets, and a cat. There seems to be some type of mold around the main room sliding door. Plants are in the bedroom. Not to sure how I could have introduced them? Maybe someone has them in another apt and the air cir moved them in???

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can get them from the carpet in your apt from previous tenants. You can get them from being around another grow, which has mites. Introducing foregin clones to the garden, from a club or friend. My hydrostore guy told me that as it nears summer here, a lot of the eggs in the carpet, cabinets, ect, would start to hatch as the growing environment warms from winter to summer. This seems possible. When it comes to mites for me, I've had 2 distinct, maybe 3 incidents in my first year of growing. I've found the key to be early detection, then a complete application of spider mite control product to the entire garden that day. Follow it up a few days later on the next watering, I have had no problems since then. My mite situations have been restricted to sightings for less than 1 week with the method described above. Last time I got rid of them, I didn't seem them for 4 months, however, I dd introduce a lot of new strains and they appeared suddenly. Early detection was the key. Check yo plants.
