EMERGENCY! Spiders in week 5!
permalink

I don't know how it happened, but it's almost week 6 here and somewhere in my dense canopy there have been spider mites propogating. Now, all of a sudden with no signs until now, I find huge webs on two unhealthier plants and smaller webs on some of my best looking nuggets.

I can't neem, I can't fog, What can I do that won't make my buds deadly to smoke?

I have a dense canopy and lots of plants... will ladybugs keep them under control for the next few weeks?

I'm in a serious friggin pickle with huge buds and spider mites coming out of nowhere.

I wouldn't treat for them at this stage. The damage will only be superficial IMO, not too bad on the crop overall. you can remove the uopper most webbing by hand, it's a pain, but it's the only thing I would do.

Once you've cropped, hang the buds on their sticks, the mites will go the uppermost hanging parts, out the way of the buds, remove as much plant material as possible from the area.

Then nuke the space, any mother plants, or clones, and house plants with Abermectin, trade names are Dynamec, and avid.

Job done.

If you try to treat a room/space full of plants, you'll miss some, and risk breeding abermectin resistance into your new pets take the hit on this crop, and be mite free for the next one use the time to get armed to the teeth with avid

Stick as many no pest strips as you can in there and try and grab as many as possible until harvesting.

Good luck.

I was afraid of getting the "too late, just stick it out" sort of answer.

I'd really like to get rid of them...

Predator mites anyone?

alright, thanks everyone for your help.
I think I'm just gonna keep removing dead leaves and spider webs and hope that my harvest turns out lovely.
