![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | check out St0ney's PH chart in my signature to get a good idea of what nutes are absorbed at different ph levels. Also, look at the Revised Guide to Sick Plants in my signature as well.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Notice how some of your leafs have a twisty curling to them. From my expierences that is ph imbalance. Also, notice how some of your leafs on the top of the plant have the famous 'leaf tacoing' which to me again, suggests a ph imbalance. Leaf tacoing is generally a mg def. Mg is absorbed at lower ph levels, in soil, I'd assume it to be taken up between 6.1-6.4 area. Atleast your know that your ph is pretty high ...7.5 I'd bring it down some! I'd try to set it to 6.4 since your in veg I think you would get awesome growth results at that ph level. Your plant looks a bit yellow so I'd say its time for a nuting. If your using the fox farms line you could put some tiger bloom to your nute solution to bring you ph down. If you want to fix your problem faster, I would flush the plant completely and then on the last watering of the flush hit your plants with some fresh nutes. Get some Nitrogen in there, and you could use tigerbloom to drop your ph faster. When in doubt, flush it out! (then re-nute) Edit: I would also suggest putting a slight bit of epsom salt in your nute solution if you so wish to flush. I found my fox farms line to make a couple of my more sativa plants a bit mg def everytime. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon will do the trick.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good eyes, Kasper. Actually, Magnesium is taken up at ph levels of 6.5 to 6.9. Usually a Mg deficiency is caused by ph being too low, but if the ph is 7.5, pretty much everything will be locked out as well.

![]() ![]() | I've been using a pH lowering acid but it suggests 1 tsp per gallon per 1 pH. Should i up it because my meter still reads 7ish...maybe my meter is off? I just dont want to kill it with too much acid. And if it is a mg def could I use my old nutes (miracle gro all purpose 24-8-16 or my tomato plant food 18-18-21) or should i stick to FF and not take any risks with MG? | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you are using a cheap pH meter, (esp. from home depot) they always read at around 7. Make sure you have a good meter, if not, go to a pet store and get a pH testing kit from the aquarium section. You can still use those nutes, your pH is just outta whack. Once that's fixed everything should be fine.
