so my plants are about 3 wks. i noticed my hempys were very droopy...so last nite i transplanted them into their big homes. they had been in solo cups. i've only been feeding them a very weak 1/2tsp per gallon of the gh3 nutes. when i checked the ph with my pronge thingy(when they were still in the solo cups) it was hoovering between 7-8...so thats why i decided to put them in their bigger pots...with only water. we do have a water softner, but that was never an issue last year, which is where its at now. 7 was about normal for me last year. temps are in the low 70s with humidity at about 60%. this morning they still look like crap...pictures below. just wondering if they should be fed more(they are light green color)...or what else i should do.???? thanks! | ||

| I think they'll respond. I've had my solo hempys get rootbound at about that size, before transplanting. They do look hungry - start giving them more nutes. And remember to water them directly at their rootmass until they adapt to the larger containers. Ph of nutrient solution after mixing - 6.0 works best for me  .

| They look hungry to me as well. The lower older growth is yellowing which says to me its using the N stored in the lower leaves to feed the new growth  good luck !

| They are definetely hungry, you can follow the GH-3 part guide to feeding with hempys. One of my plants I didn't feed as much and only noticed a slight loss of color, but as soon as I gave them a full dose they exploded with growth. Also, like Ripcord said, water near the rootmass until the roots are touching the bottom resevoir.

| what are your nighttime temps? If there is a big drop between daytime & night time temps i've seen similar droopyness... Also if the night temps are warmer that can be a problem too. I agree with the deficiency as well, but the droopyness could be a seperate problem .

| the temps are pretty much the same at nite....it ranges from like 72-78 degrees. so what strength would you use for feeding? i was using mild...are they considered veg at this young age? i wasn't sure. last year when i did hempys, i started them in soil and transplanted them into hempys when they were much bigger so i started off with the veg schedule. thanks for the input! | ||
