I've been using it for PH down for a long time and never had any adverse results. A little bit goes a long ways. Using Fox Farms nutes, and my water is fairly alkaline at 7.42. During the Big Grow veg cycle the Big Grow wouldn't bring the water down quite enough so then I would need like a teaspoon per 5 gallons of water to give me the desired 6.5 PH. Now that I'm in flower and using the Tiger Bloom, it's quite acidic and I actually need a teaspoon or so of baking soda to bring that same 5 gallons of water back up to 6.5 PH.

I'm simply curious to how much vinigar would be too much? and what the effects would be. I have to use a bit more then 10ml vinegar per 10 liters of water, and it's not harming anything. thanks for the concern though. happy growing -Matt

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have to bring a large res down from 8.2 in a commercial strawberry system and I use vinegar. Never had a problem at all. I do use the AN Ph down for my Mj though, never used the vinegar for that. So I guess I can't say what the symptoms would be if overloaded, strawberries never showed any signs of not liking it. Hope this helps some. Peace
