Leaf Curl?
permalink

I've done some research and the most common diagnosis for the curling of leaves seems to be N toxicity or deficiency. However, I haven't given them much N at all , and the older leaves arent' dying off, so i don't think it could really be either. The curling is only appearing at the top couple sets of leaves on each of the branches, the lower sets look good.

The strain is G-13 labs 'Thai x Super Skunk' (freebies from 'attitude seed bank). She is about 2-3wks flower, in FFOF soil, water with ph ranging from 6-6.8, fed her 400ppm's of FF Big Bloom with 1tsp Purple Max twice, pure ph'd tap water before that. Under a 400W HPS in a cool tube, temps near the bottom of the plant range from 60-75 and at the top from 65-82.

Any tips, advice, or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

IMO your ph its off and your nutes got locked, makes it look like N def, cause thats what it is.
Check your ph by squeezing a ball of wet soil and testing that water.

Thanks 'Lou', i'll do that. Another question for ya, I'm planning on watering them again tomorrow so should I do it right after watering or wait some before testing it? And should I add nutes with this watering?

No, don't feed them this time, just ph water, wait couple of hrs and then take a sample of soil and extract some water out of it.
That should be the correct ph of the plant.
If I'm right, will be acidic by a point.

Alright, so i watered it with a gallon of ph-6.2 water and waited about an hour. I gathered up some soil and tried to squeeze some water out of it and got nothing. I can't even get a drop, so what I did was test the runoff (which was a pretty deep puddle) and it read between 4.9-5.3. I've read that testing the runoff isn't accurate, but could it be a good estimate at least, showing that my soil is too basic??

Yes, that reading would be from acidic soil, but I don't really think its very accurate.
My bad, not to describe the soil test.
Take couple spoons of soil from mid level from the pot, pour three parts water in to it, same water that you would water the plant with, shake it well so it gets nice and muddy, and then try to get as much water out of it and test it.
Now that will be the correct reading.
I do believe you're on the acidic side but not as low as 4.9, maybe around 6.0.
