Leaves curling up like a taco
permalink

The leaves to my plants are curling up like a taco.
They are 2 weeks into veg,
I'm using a 600 watt MH
The light is about 3' away from the plants
I use Fox Farms Oceans forest soil
My water PH is 6
The plants are about 3' tall
Average temp day is 70, night 60

I thought that it was getting to hot in the room, so I added more fans. The fans are blowing on the plants. Can that make them curl upwards?

yup yup... start there!!

Next is do not point that fan directly on the plants. We want constant circulation, not a year round hurricane. If the leaves are turning over in the breeze, adjust so they dont.

Welcome to the GardensCure

You might want to look at the links in my sig. about "sick plants" or "Plant abuse"
and see if any of the pictures are like yours, and then see the fix...
I had a bit of taco from to low PH, and she could not take up Calcium....
also see "stoney PH Guide" to help you out.

It may just be magnesium deficiency, some epsom salt should fix that up, like 1tbsp per gallon, but if it's strictly like an indoor growing problem then I cant help you

Further advice
permalink

Luke Highwalker gave me some excellent advice on another thread but after looking at some of the symptoms from the links on EZMarks post, it's confused me a little.
The fan leaves are curled a bit at the tips and Luke Highwalker said that it maybe because of nute's.
The link to that thread is here:

Can anyone tell me what you think of the quality of my plant?
There are more images are in my personal album.
