These contain organophosphates. I'm sure they work and a lot of people swear by them, but this stuff makes me uncomfortable. If you are sensitive about what you put in your body or you are dealing with autoimmune disease of any sort, there are safer/better choices. Not knocking the advice, I'm just sayin'.

Red face mites hate water
permalink

you can either spray them with a water bottle twice a day; a mite in a puddle explodes.

Raising humidity to extreme levels stuffs them up; you could try putting some in a sealed tub, ala Lou Cyphers cloning made easy.

got to wipe them before flower and try and outrun them.

Make sure to spray water on pots and surfaces, anywhere you think they may hide. Keep it up for a couple of weeks to deal with hatching of egg.

I am smoking a roll your own cigarette down in space, as Waveguide told me hey hate that.

They are always there lurking, got to make it uncomfortable for them by lowering temp and increasing humidity; stop them being a plague.

Trying to be chemical free apart from some nutes, pointless growing medicine with residues. lol good luck whichever way you go, best wishes nigel

I was just thinking about what environmental factors that we can play with that plants love and animals hate. Anyone ever try gassing these critters with CO2?

Obviously the plants would benefit and the bugs would not. Anyone?

Found it: "The use of tanked CO2 can facilitate the killing of spider mites and other pests. In true sealed grow rooms that have no leaks, growers can kill all pests by upping CO2 levels to 10,000 parts per million (ppm) for one hour. Other CO2 augmentation methods are incapable of generating 10,000 ppm for an hour ? only the tank supply method is capable of providing that concentration of CO2. Especially when using 10,000 ppm bug-killing tactics, growers must use safety methods that minimize the health problems that CO2 can cause for humans."

I have tried to spray them with water twice a day, droped RT down to 65 to 68 F. but will that stop the growth on them girls?
I need to get them well to go outside for the people that need them.
We have a family down here that helps people that are sick & they need this help , I was asked to help this year , I just don't want to let them down

I'm scared that I will kill them if I put them in the tub upside down, never put a plant upside down in water , I would think the dirt would fall out .

Plus if it's cold in the done or room , will that stop them from growing to?

Scared to feed them food in three days.

Again thanks eveyone for alll your help , im going for a long driver today to talk with some people about a new blower for the ceiling, & bigger fans, they run a large greenhouse.

Depending on where you live use Floramite. It is strong stuff and should not harm your clones. I have used this myself as have others that I know on clones that where being transplanted.

lost to lowering temperature, is more than balanced by the time saved getting rid of the mites.

be negligible for young stuff as they prefer gentler conditions anyway. Mites like it hot and dry.

You harass them for a week and you will cut their numbers down. Something you need to do - kill mites Gwen, they deserve to die for stressing you out. lol nigel

I don't mean to harp, but this stuff is toxic as fuck. Remember, some of the people here are sick, as in really sick. A person who is immuno-compromised or otherwise systemically weakened may not have the same abilities to deal with toxic insults that a healthy person would have.

Think DE, Neem, pyrethrins, etc.

Good news I can put end all II on young plants at the age of 5 - 7 days old but I'm to cut the premix to 50 / 50 .. 50 % of end all II 50 % of water that has been boiled & cooled.
Told to drop RT to 60 or 65.
With mix (end all II & water ) I can spray every three days
With a lite mist (water)twice a day until ready for outside.
I'm going to feed them food on Saturday only half of the food to start.
Ok lights are on in grow room time to go to work .
Crossing my fingers hoping this will work out , I do really want to help people that can not help them selfs.

Still never found, Snow Storm Ultra if someone knows where I can get this is Canada please do tell thanks

Well have a nice day all
