hello all, i recently noticed a couple of minutes ago that i have white spots forming on one of my plants. i would consider it a seedling from an age stand point.

1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seeds
2. How old are your plants? 5-24
3. How tall are your plants? unhealthy one- 1.5 inches, healthy one 2.75 inches
4. What type of hydro system are you using? hempy
5. What brand/type of nutrients are you using? gh 3 part
6. What is the Ph of your nutrient solution? 5.75-6, subjective interpretation of color change
7. What is the PPM/EC of your tap water?unknown
8. What is the PPM/EC of your nutrient solution? unknown
9. What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? stored in refrigerator
10. Does your PPM/EC show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? unknown
11. Does your pH show a rise or fall when you do your daily check?unknown
12. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? no
13. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") sunlight-daytime, cfl-nighttime
14. How close are your lights to the plants? sitting inside screen window, 3 inches from cfl
15. What size is your grow space in square feet?counter top currently getting box this weekend
16. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? varies in window, 75 in house
17. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? a few small spiders in window
18. How much experience do you have growing? this is a first time grow

i guess in my current enlighten state i may have just answered my own question. but i will be interested in your feedback.

Carefull, small white spots on leaves could mean spider mites.Look underneath your leaves and see if there are very small black spots.Possibly a mold starting?Pictures would be nice.

camera doesn't get close clear pic. i checked underneath leaves and no black spots.it was suggested to me that it could be from keeping them to close to the light. tell me what you think.

You are talking about what's called bleaching. I don't think that you are using big enough lights to worry much about that.

If you're foliar feeding, it could just be fertilizer residue. Not a problem if that's the case.
