Hello kiny

This thread is a sticky in our Garden: Revised:The Complete Guide To Sick Plants,pH and Pest Troubles in our Nursery forum

Yeah, as crazytrain said, it looks like a Iron deff.

Iron (Fe) Micro Nutrient and an Immobile element

I like the info you gave and a picture is always always helpful. Next time, fill out a detailed Nursery Questionnaire. There are more questions that will help us help you.

Welcome to the Garden

Red face iron and sulfur deficiency is one thing
permalink

iron is often locked out by acidity, seaweed and rusty water helped.

sulfur is available in epsom salts; foliar and via soil.

But i think your problem is the draught / draft [through porch cracks] on the root zone? I had a similar look when i had cold pots.

draft would penetrate rock wool and tweak end of roots. result unhappy tops.

can get same effect by giving plants cold water; i did that too. just some thoughts, hope you work it out. nigel

It also looks like a plant that has been in the dark for 3-4 days. Maybe check your timer if you have one. If not a lighting issue, then you have a pretty good Iron def. Which is interesting to me, because you don't see them every day. Can you describe your setup and the nutrients a little?

I think Burndt smoked enough, and had a flashback to the 'iron deficiency' thread you had 6 months back. I know i kept on wanting to quote you too; for that very reason;

and we all know i do not smoke enough lol.

I will go and find that and something else i thought of, back soon. lol nigel

Ive only had that problem once a looong time ago. Went out and got some Technaflora thrivealive B1 micros and it cleared right up. Its just a light supplimental nute- 1-1-1 with .09% soluable iron. the vitamin B1 added will help give your roots a boost and protect them from disease too...just my

for some reason I remember stickin a rusty iron nail (not zinc galvanized) in a houseplant once and that kinda worked.
