Mary Jane slightly yellow tips
permalink

Hey all,
The leaf tips on some of my plants are slightly yellow and curled down just a bit. There is very good airflow, temps in the box are always between 67 and 80F with 45-55% humidity. CFL lights: Output 1x1000w, 1x500w, 2x100w in a 4x4x2 area (the "actual" watt usage of the CFLs is much lower). The picture is Grapefruit Kush, 8 days into 12/12. You can see off on the left some of the leaf tips aren't perfect, but overall they look so good i didn't want to adjust anything without asking for more opinions from a reputable source. So there you have it, fire away guys!

I got a little of that too. I'm curious as well as to what it is. Are you using soil?

yes, I am using a potting soil mixture i picked up from Home Depot that has "4 months" of nutes already built in. These were planted from clone and were on 24/0 for 3 weeks before switching over to 12/12.

The leaves are looking lack of zinc, that's why they are turning yellow and growing to get yellow in all the parts. Try to give some zinc sulphate to the soil.
