My plants look quite healthy and are ridiculously vigorous (Sensei's g-13/hash plant) though despite regular nitrogen, they still look like they could use a little more. However, some of them have these yellow spots. Bright yellow. I've been combing through nutrient diagnostic guides and pictures and haven't seen this particular symptom/ condition. Anyone have an idea? I thought it might have to do with misting them while the light is on, though not sure how that would happen. Thanks for any suggestions. | ||

 | Could be the light treating the water droplets like magnifying glasses and burning them. What is your ph? How big is your light? In general, if you have a problem with your plants, it is best put in the nursery. Welcome to the garden, and I will move this for you. Swap

| What kind of water did you mist them with?Droplets can contain minerals in them and these will definetly burn your leaves.Imho-You should only mist with distilled water and be sure your light is not to close .  | ||

| Have you inspected both sides of your leafs with a scope?

| not saying it is or isnt true....but farmers water is just water. our water is full of minerals and crap we add. water spots do in fact damage a cars paint however. a magnifying glass is not the same shape as a rain drop sitting on flat surface. so how can we even compare the focal distance of the two? the problem really isnt the water....at least with paint. the water evaps, the minerals stay. that little clump of minerals sitting on the paint reacting with the sun is what destroys it. so whos not to say nute water on the leaf wont evap the same way leaving condensed salts on the leaf providing a chemical burn? take a drop of nutrient right out the bottle, put it on a leaf. tell me what happens. that, in essence is what you are doing by foliar feeding with the lights on...in theory. that being said...these are leaves, not paint! my buddy foliar feeds almost every day with the lights a blazin. and i have seen not a single spot on the leaves from it. so i too am leaning towards myth on this one. but i dont know if i agree with there logic. | Yeah, that's what I meant.....yeah the salts....that's it....  Damn, I guess I am not perfect after all...thank you buzz for that ugly thought.
