Ok, my plants are now in there 3rd week of bud and startin to show some problems. I have them planted in three gallon containers in a soil mix I got from my local grow store called Sun Gro Sunshine mix 8 I bought a big bale of it, the pic shows what's in it and I have been using earth juice grow until I started budding and now I'm using grow and bloom 1 and a half tbl spoons per gallon of each. I seen some signs of this happening to the leaves maybe a week ago so I went out and got the earthjuice microblast, catalyst, and meta-k and added a tsp of each one of those to a gallon along with the grow and bloom, thinking maybe it was deficient since the soil has nothing in it. I also bought one of those cheap ph test kit, the one where you fill up the vile half way and put 3-5 drops of the solution in the vile and compare the color to the chart. Well I tested my tap water which is what I've been using and it came up green 8.0 ph or higher, then I mixed my nutes together and tested it and it was red 4.0 ph or lower. I read a little bit in the organics forum about eatrthjuice and the information is very conflicting, some people say don't worry about ph in organics others say you should. So what do you think is happening here and what should I do? cause it seems like there getting bad quick. Also I just found that your not supposed to let the earthjuice sit out after you mix it and I have been doing this all along. I would fill up the gallon jug, mix the nutes and let it sit for a few days before I gave it to them. Could this have something to do with it and if so what?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Looks like a: Phosphorus (P) deficiency: Figure 12 shows Phosphorus (P) deficiency during vegatative growth. Many people mistaken this for a fungus, but look for the damage to occur near the end of leave, and leaves the color dull greyish with a very brittle texture. ![]() Phosphorus (P) Toxicity: This condition is rare and usually buffered by pH limitations. Excess phosphorus can interfere with the availability and stability of copper and zinc. Kinda looks like Ca too ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | So do you think the Ph being off in the solution i'm feeding them have something to do with why there might be a deficiency? Cause according to earthjuice i'm giving them what there supposed to have. I've only fed them a combination of all five nutes one time (2 gallons spread out between the 6 of them) so should I just keep doing this and see if they get better?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i dont feel you can grow organics with tap water. the chemicals {chlorine, chloramine} kill all the good shit in your nutes. use RO water when you mix your nutes... if they offer an organic ph adjuster would use that and follow there recomended ph instructions. i dont feel bottled nutes are organic anyways...to me organics is brewing teas from known organic compounds. ewc, bone meal..whatever. raw elements. when you buy a bottle of nutes, who knows whats in it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Does anyone know if I can use aquarium ph up for plants, or will that just screw all the beneficial nutes up? I also heard you can use baking soda for ph up, if so how much per gallon and will that do any harm? Does anyone know how much RO filters cost and are they easy to hook up by yourself? Thanks for the replies
