The bigger one has a small yellow spot @ the end with a smaller brown spot in the center @ the tip(single blade leaf on the bottom of pic). My cam sux balls, so these are the best I can do on the pics.

thats alot of soil for a little plant... can often lead to overwating trying to keep the top moist where the plant is, but the bottom layers of soil are all soaked.

I had them in 8oz cups but they dried out really fast, less than 2 days. I was affraid I woud water them too often in the smaller pots. I can stick my pinky in the drain holes on the bottom of the bags almost halfway through to see if the soil is still wet. Hopefully that'll be a good enough until I can get one of those moisture readers.

if the cups are dry {go by weight of the cup} every day, then water every day.

over watering is not letting the soil dry out, allowing the roots to breathe. if the soil is dry in a day or two then water it in a day or two.... i uses little 6-8oz pots for my clones and seedlings. they dry out real fast...but they work fine. plants stay in those tiny cups till they are about a foot tall.

Good to know for the 2 I have germin right now

How long do I need to wait before I can give them nutes? The lil chart that came with my fox farm says two weeks old, but that's only a few days away & they seem too small. But then again, wtf do I know?

eh...depends what kinda soil you got really.

if they are starting to yellow form the bottom up or otherwise get pale...feed them.

just start with like 1/3 the recomended dose... and work up.

i start counting the plants age from its first full set of leaves. i usually use FFOF soil, which has some nutrients in it..

if you are real worried about feeding them without burning them get a little bag of earth worm castings from the garden store, dress the top of your soil with them and water like usual.

I think I'll give them another week or so then start light on the nutes. I wanted FFOF so bad, but cannot find it anywhere locally & I'm not gonna pay $50 for some soil.

I'd gladly fork over $25 to atleast try out a bag. But Add $20 S&H & it just kills it for me. The only 2 hydro shops around here were both insanely overpriced on fans & filters. I didn't even think about looking for FFOF, but I'd imagine it would be way over priced as well, if they even had any.
