HELP

my plant is wilted and the end of the leaves are curled in, and the edges are becomeing more brown by the day. i gave my plant some steermanure tea a couple of times about 6 cups in about two weeks but its been about 1 week since ive done that and the problem started about 3 days ago. i went to the grow faq and looked at the part for how to figure out what is wrong with ur plant but nothing seems to fit except.

7) Leaves are curled under like a ram's horn, and are dark green, gray, brown, or gold. >> Over-fertilization (too much N). b) If not, go to #8…

8) The plant is wilted, even though the soil is moist. >> Over-fertilization, soggy soil, damaged roots, disease; copper deficiency (very unlikely). b) If not, go to #9.

do u think maybe i over fertilized with nitrogen the only thing is its been a little over a week since ive done the manure tea and the problem started 3 days ago so it doesnt make no sense please help i dont want my first baby to die

and yes i know i posted in the wrong thread again im very bad at that sorry

Container or in-ground grow? In-ground you are less likely to over-water as there is more drainage. Container...If the plant is over-growing the container it is in, the roots could beginning to get tangled up at the edges. This means you need to do a transplant soon! I had to do that yesterday, and it is scary at first...but if your plant is strong, roots will regen! I suggest rolling the container against a landscape timber while placing light pressure on the center of the container. This should effectively loosen the edges of your plant and allow the root ball to walk itself out. You may need to cut the container off but just try to limit damage to all but the very tips of the root ball! best wishes with it!

you are giving too much N. Back off the nutes a little. That's why your seeing brown tips = nute burn

add less nutes to your h20

absorption rate of nutes in soil is a slow gentle process. you may see issues a couple of days after, but more likely it will take a bit. with it that small, i would only fert with some fish emulsion or a light fert for now, and only if deficiencies show on the plant.

I suspect you are drowning the little plant. It is very difficult to control watering when there is a small plant in a large container.
