![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Honestly dude. Cleanliness is key for preventing all pest infestations. My advice is, transplant, inspect and remove all pests by hand that you can find. Try to get a positive idenification of the pest and use the best method for removing that paticular pest. After all of that is done. Clean, clean, clean. Clean the grow area and all areas aound the grow area. If you are using a cabinet, filter all incoming ducting with black nylon. As i've already said. prevention is the best thing you can do. Good luck.

Like the man said keep it clean. There is no reason to let your grow area get funky. Think about the rewards for cleanliness, BEST OF LUCK

I don't believe its maggots you have. I ain't sure what it is, but flies don't lay eggs in soil. (at least I don't believe they do unless it has some sort of dead shit in it ) I don't know where you are but here we have fire ants. They will get in a pot and lay their eggs and raise, but never hurt the plant. You can rake the soil and see thousands of these eggs. If you have no fire ants where you are I am as lost as you are. They are the only thing I have ever seen in a pot with lots and lots of little white eggs, which would look like a maggotts. A very small on. ![]()

A typical fungus gnat larva is a small white/clearish maggot. I use to get them all the time in my rockwool & they never actually hurt anything but pest strips will catch/kill the adults that are flying around & thus the problem will go away since there are no adults to breed.
