Okay well I checked today and my roots have brown on them. some spots darker than others. I know it cant be my res temp, because I have it a steady 68-70 degrees. What else can cause these brown roots? | ||

 | whew, thats never good. Sounds like you have some root fungus. You need to go to the hydro store and get either 1. Hygrozyme or 2. Aquashield. Follow the directions on the package. Also, do you have an airstone in your reservoir? I would add one if you don't. Oxygenate that water!

| Well yeah I have three airstones. I have 1 long one in the middle and the two on each side of that. Here are some photos. Also what would the peroxide do? I have heard good things and bad things about it. Could I goto my local wal-mart and use that stuff? Also I thought the cooler the water the more dissolved O2 it can hold? Thats why I dont understand why they are turning brown. MY res temp NEVER goes above 70. | ||

| Hygrozyme? Will this fix things for sure? Last time I spent money on root health nutes, they about murdered my crop. I'm still dealing with it. Thanks for posting this, W33DM4N420. My FLO has a similar root problem. I know AN makes Hygrozyme, who makes Aquashield?

| Yeah based on the pics I dont think it is too bad. But I would like to get it corrected before it gets worse. Anyone else have any ideas what could cause this and how to fix it. | ||

| [i]Root rot Maybe bacteria in your system.? Just a guess  If what Dr. Funk had was this then it is no wonder he entire crop died because thats whats happens .. It is a very fast spreading disease so I hope this isn't the case.  Not meaning to alarm you)A good friend of mine went through this the last grow he did /I] | ||

| drop the temps to 62 - 66 F and you should be fine... what size airpump you got?
