Actually I had these in net pots not the bucket system so there were no hoses to crimp or clogg.. But hey Buddy, I got a solution for that problem: At the end of each run of plants install a T instead of an L. Then loop those ends together as well. Now if you crimp a hose the buckets will still fill up from the back

It's good to see you around these parts again

here's a random thought...not sure how ledgit it may be...too long in veg?? I doubt that very much...but it went through my mind so I'll share.

yeah, it looks like the plant just seperated itself from the root system, like the roots were a chopped branch and compartmentalized the root system.

makes sense if that system clean caused it.

can you find out if the mother it came from has any kind of sickness, and how old the mother is? I asked a friend here as well and he says check the mother. didn't know about the system clean though.

thanks for keeping posted

The first dead lady now has leaves that are just dry as a crisp. 24 hrs ago she was standing tall. Now she looks like I left her in the sun for several days without watering her.. just crispy
The second lady, what's left of her, seems to be ok... but I have been flushing her with straight water.

That system clean is one that is to be applied from the 1st feeding, all the way to harvest. It's supposed to do several things and one of them is to eliminate the need for a long flush because it is supposed to keep the salts suspended in the solution and not let them attach to the medium or the roots. I suspect this is the root of the issue, but I've had other plants that were a month more mature than this that I've introduced to the 'drip clean' and it didn't phase them.

Thanks Matt.. I'll check with the collective I got them from

I'm going to show this to the canna guy and the flying dutchman guy

see what their take is on it. I'm very curious. aptus has a drip clean as well, called system clean, but from what I know about it...it shouldn't cause that.

unless cheesewreck is incredibly unstable, which also doesn't really make sense...

hope the other one pulls around for you man

look up fusarium wilt and tell me what you think.

if you split the stalks of the dead plant, do you see a browninsh kind of gunk in the middle anywhere?

if that's the case, the other plant probably doesn't look so hot at the moment either and it's future is bleek. so I hope not.

CT---Good call on taking the clones.

Boy for how that plant wilted over, it was like it was cut off at the throat or something. It just totally went over. Sorry no ideas, just liked that you cloned it I guess, and high.

Happy Cloning
