Thank you Analog... hopefully I'll save the strain.

Matt I just checked on the other plant and it's drooping too.. doesn't look like it's going to make it. I'll chop the bottom of the stem tonight and see if it's brow... I sure hope not, it would be ashame if these clones infected all my other strains, as they've all been in the same tray for a few weeks On a good note though I was able to talk to the source I got them from today and he says the momma is very healthy and puts out clones like crazy and no one has reported any problems.

Thanks Cat... It's good to see you.. Hi back atchya

Pesci. You got it.. I'll keep you updated.

this might be out of the realm of the plant itself, but what/when/how did you clean the hydroton last? and whats that brownish film on the tray in the one post? hydroton is very porous and salts and crap do build up. i re use my hydroton medium all the time, but i sanitize and clean them periodically. and i rinse/clean the trays at least every other round.

i was thinking you might have over toxified the plant with cleaning chems, but i see that you planted the clone with the rockwool cube several weeks ago. too much time has passed for it to be a chem tox. my mother plants do something similar every so often, they mysteriously droop and die. i dont know if its the same thing or what.

not for every strain maybe?

and maybe it effects new cuttings more if the mother is already carrying?

I'll be reading up on it, and I'll get that book with great examples in there.

Hey Booty,
That brown stuff is the residue from the new hydroton that I used... I rinsed it but not enough I guess.

Hey Matt.. she was BONE WHITE inside her stem... what a relief!!!!!!!

Her clones are standing tall and proud

Since all my other plants in that tray were in 1 inch cubes in hydroton and these were in 2 or 3 inch cubes in hydroton and it was all watered for 15 min every 4 hrs, do you think it's possible that they were watered to death?

no. rockwool and drip systems give more oxygen to the rootzone, not less. besides, it's too old, maybe if it happened in the first couple days I'd believe that.

and even still, it wouldn't have crispified like that from over watering...

it's a mystery. maybe it was an enlightened plant and it was taken to the same relm that bruce lee, elvis, and micheal jackson were taken too.

in that case, that sucks. LOL
