![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Like a kiddy firework smoke bomb? What is your age range man? Maybe you mean those smoke bombs at Home Depot that are for moles? Either way no none of those will work. Lastly you might be talking about the vapor bombs that were posted for you? Those arn't smoke, they are just a mist/fog, and they might hurt the plants a little bit, but a lot less than the mites will. The absolute best thing I have seen is a combination of two miticides, Forbid and Floramite. You only need a few mL per gallon, and Forbid is translaminar, meaning you only have to spray the tops of the leaves, it will travel through the leaves to the bottom where the mites hang out. Most other pesticide/miticids/soaps/oils you need to spray both sides of the leaves, which sucks and usually means your taking all your plants out and turning/tilting/screwing with them to get every surface covered. The Forbid is also a Ovicide which means it kills the eggs, which a lot of other miticides/pesticides will not. Floramite just has a different MOA (method of action) just in case any mites decide not to give it up to the Forbid. There's been tons of people that have success with cheap stuff, like the no pest strips, neem, SM90, all that stuff, but for every 5 people that love those things, you will find one or two that it didn't work for...Forbid and Floramite are the only two I've seen that had 100% success with everyone who used the combination. Both arn't cheep, Forbid goes for $270 for the smallest size (8oz), Floramite around the same. Not saying you have to go spend $600 bucks, if you look on Ebay people sell small amounts, enough to make 5-10 gallons, for $10-20 bucks. | ||

Also, a note on the no-pest strips- they are just insecticde-soaked strips in a plastic housing. They also say do not use in food prep areas. I have been a oppenant of no-pest strips for years. I would try the oil sprays, if you have a chance.
