I would also check the PH of the runoff. In my hempy buckets I've found that even w/ water at PH of 5.8 all the time the runoff can be WAY different.

I agree too, I believe that is due to the vermiculite, my last hempy style grow, I had the ph rising on me like oil on water. It was also the first time i ever used farm grade coarse vermiculite coincidence? I think not.

The results are 5.5pH in and 5.7-5.8pH runoff. I am somewhat confused on what to do now, water with even lower pH and try and get the runoff to 5.5?

Thanks

flush?
permalink

Whenever I have some plants that are looking like that, I always go for a flush. Make sure to really drench the roots to get rid of anything that might be building up and causing troubles.

I agree with the others. Flush things out, water again to get the right pH, and then check out the pH once again. If things are looking good, then you might want to look at the nutes, but it seems like there's just something a little off in the uptake, not necessarily because of what you're using for nutes.

So maybe you need to flush a few more times to get the pH back to 5.5? What do others think?

Peace -
