Hey guys, I am a newbie grower with a couple failed attempts at hempy, but I think this time around I will be successful~ Anyways I got basically 3 batches of seeds going right now in veg (18/6). Currently all seedlings are about 1 foot below x2 air cooled 400W CMH bulbs (800W total), with A/C & exhaust fan on 24/7. Have 4 oscillating fans with a fogger. Humidity is around the 40's and temperature is at 25 celsius. I am growing in 10 liter buckets with 100% perlite. Seeds were started off in jiffy pellets then transplanted just recently. No pests that I know of and using RO water with 1 teaspoon GH Maxigro (10-5-14) + 1ml Superthrive per gallon. PPM at around 700 and pH around 6.0. I am currently using this same nute mix for all 3 batches of plants. Feeding them every day currently as the roots have not hit the res yet. Below are my troubled seedlings that arent in such great shape. I got others that are doing better tho. Anyways please take a look and any suggestions on how to get these babies growing more productively, feel free to let a newbie know! #1 This baby is on day 20. Transplanted 4 days ago. Notice the lower leaves seem burnt, but the overall color of the plant is a yellowish green, which I thought meant not enough nutes? This strain was from a bag of freebies. What can I do to get this baby growing better? #2-#5 These babies are from a CH9 fem mix, so exact strain unknown. Currently on day 16, transplanted 2 days ago. #2 & #3 have seen better days, they weren't all droppy when they were just in the jiffy pellets. However #4 & #5 have been seriously droppy the whole time. Any way to spice these babies back up? #2,#3 #4,#5 Also as an added bonus, my 2 veterans on day 43, can anyone tell my newbie ass if these are male or female? Thanks to everyone for taking a look and your advice is greatly appreciated!

![]() ![]() | Some plants will show sex under 18-24 hours of light. Some will not. For those that do not you have to put them (or a clone off of them) into 12/12 dark/light cycle for at least a week. A female will have small white hairs that come out of where branches intersect with the main stalk (nodes). Males grow what look like small pods. No white hairs not a female.
