spider mites

Just a quick question, this is my first grow and I am one week into the 12/12 cycle and I discovered I have a spider mite infestation! so I bought some Azamax and sprayed them really good last nite and looked this morn and could not see anything moving so i think i killed them all, but i will respray every 4 days for 2 or 3 weeks. My question is Has anyone used this product and what was the result? or should I use something else....thanks,HH

Im just finishing my baby after 8 weeks flower, Ive had spider mites mo9st of the way thru.
The best way to keep them art bay is to give your plant a good shower & flush, and the spray with a mix of 'water/neem oil/soap' ive done this all the way thru and they aint really gone onto to the plant, but the main thing is i have absolutely NO DAMAGE anywhere.

SO if they dont go dont worry just do ya best to keep them at bay..
GOOD LUCK MATE, I HOPE SHE GROWS WELL..

jUST KEEP AN EYE OPEN AS I USED TO THINK 'THEYVE GONE' AND ABOUT 4-5 DAYS LATER they re-rise..

But keep doing what youve been doing and you will be fine.
My plant is now ready for 'prime harvest' and shes done well even despite mites, still have no damage on her.
Gonna be chopping a cola or 2 first thing, then literally 'watch' her hourly to get as close to 100% peak harvest as possible (so my main colas will be killer, esp after 2-3 weeks drying time then a month jar cure....

mmmm Im getting excited here..

Good luck dude, hope you 'reap' what you sow.....

WOW do you have any pics of your plants? also when you say you will be watching hourly, what are you looking for? how do you know when peak harvest is? sorry for all the questions but this is my first grow kinda an experiment and Im really just learning as I go, so far its been a blast and im really getting excited to see what kind of harvest I get. I need to learn how to upload some pictures.

look at those suckers!

a closer view, these were crawling around everywhere

here you can see the yellow speckling on the leaves ( i didnt know what caused it till now)
over all they are still pretty healthy and I think i will still get a pretty good harvest
my set up with the two light panels looks like a tanning bed LOL

Hi mate,
wow you are infested i didnt have none of that, id stick the whole plant (carefully) sideways in the shower on low-warm for a few mins to knock any of the actual leaves, then really spray the soil and the pot itself to keep any babies from hatching.

'Peak Harvest' is (apparantly) when the trichs have started turning it only takes 48 hours for them all to turn adn the plant degrades, so imo 'peak time' is slap bang 24 hours BEFORE the 48 hours ends.? Dunno but to me it makes sense??
Hope you like the pics.(pic 1 was at 6 weeks - pic 2 last week)
P.s trichs go from clear - milky - amber and the point for 'couchlock' is i heard about 50%+ turned amber, so i thought id aim for that one with my 2 main colas.

I'll pm ya me email as i check that every day a few rtimes in case your infest gets worse.
