Need advice on possible hermaphrodite during flowering
permalink

On what I believed to be a 100% female plant in my 100% female grow room about 3 weeks into flowering I discovered (to my horror) what I think to be male parts on my one and only Hindu Kush.

this plant, with the female white pistils clearly visible.

I cut off the parts yesterday (but did not save them) and searched again for some today and the following pictures are what I found.

Tell me what you think, if these are male parts, the way they are pod like and opening up like a male flower pollen sack, or if they are simply normal female growth. notice one has the white pistils. Am i just being paranoid? Better a little paranoid than a lot of seeds, but im curious to know.

Keep plucking them or kill the plant.

Thats a pretty decisive answer. I was pretty sure it went hermie also. But what could be the reasons? I can't think of anyway i could have stressed it out. It was a seed from a reputable seed bank so i don't lean towards genetics, though out of 5 seeds i've only got the one plant. I think 2 germinated and i killed one early out of male paranoia.

Yah I can't really complain since my previous crop of 3 plants all went hermie. different room, different set up, different strains (bag seed). It was not advertised as a feminized seed. Im definitely a little disappointed that out of 5 HK seeds I only now have 1 damn hermie but.. whatcah gonna do. I already went to the shop and complained and he gave me 15 more misc unknown seeds, 4 of which are now blooming beautifully.

You asked. I told you I thought it turned hermie. WTF are you calling me a smartass for?

If you were so positive, you should have searched or just agreed with your self...

Not bitch at the people trying to help you.

I told you to kill it so it would not pollinate your entire room.

Sorry for being such a dick I guess.?

Some people.
