![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hello, As most everyone has pointed out... you burned your plants. Great idea in looking at fertilizers that are on the lower scale of things. Something like 3-1-1 would be good for where your at once you get all the chemical ferts out of the soil. Anything that like 20-20-20 or 10-35-15 is chemical based. It will enter your plants fast and hard and cause allot of damage to your grow. If you can... Look for products that are "OMRI Listed" as the entire process is organic and much safer. Of cource the numbers will be lower, but don't worry, they work ![]() I am not an expert, this from my own observations. Your mileage may vary. Good luck, bert

![]() | Yeah, fish juice is pretty common. I usually find it in most gardening stores. I think the stuff I have right now actually says alaskan fish emulsion. About watering, I have a little moisture meter that I use and my containers are pretty tall, like 15" tall, It can be a little tricky because the top few inches can be bone dry but halfway down the pot it's soaked. So either get a cheap moisture probe or get used to feeling what the pots feel like when wet and when dry. That still works pretty well too. For a bloom fert try to get something that's about a 1-2-1 ratio of N-P-K. Not real critical that it be exactly 1-2-1 but close. Just make sure the middle number is higher than the other 2. Blooming plants LOVE phosphorus. For flowering I like a product called HASTA GRO. It's an organic fert made from organic matter. It's a 6-12-6 and completely organic. I've always had great results with it. Good Luck Last edited by Kanabys; 11-09-2009 at 06:50 AM..

I case you do not understand the thing about the weight of the pot. Fill a empty pot with soil and pick it up then pick up your pot. You can tell when your plant is wet, a little wet or almost dry or dry. Once you get the feel you can just grab em and you will know if they need water or not. By the way, you take excellent pictures too. Oh yeah, the probe meter is worthless if thats what you have. IMOP ( I have one ) Welcome

![]() As for the pictures... Thankx for the compliment, I'm an armature photographer so I better be able to pump out some good pics. ![]() I've switched to Alaska Fish Fert (5-1-1) and I'll give an update(with pics of course) once my plants have gone a few watering's with the new fert. They are looking healthier and happier every day! Thankx again and grow on! ![]() Last edited by GirlGrower420; 11-18-2009 at 05:00 PM..
