Sure we can. But first we will need the right info, without the info we can throw out educated guesses until we are blue in the face and still they may not be the right answers.

How old are they?
How much are you watering them?
Are you giving them nutes?
How far away is your HPS from your plants?

Letting them dry out then making them damp again means about every 3-4 days?

Since your not adding nutes and hopefully not overwatering then my best guess is heat stress due to low humidity. You want the humidity to be around 40 percent. Without the humidity you run the risk of letting the leaves dry by evaporation which cause them to get the markings your pics show. Try misting them slightly, the leaves. If that seems to make your plants look happier then it is definately your humidity.

Since I can't have the noise of a humidifier coming from my closet I leave open water, alot of it, in my closet and let evaporation kick in. Open water also attracts unwanted pests though if you would be prone to a pest problem.

HPS for seedlings?

i don't know if this is the problem or not, but my understanding is that HPS bulbs are best for flowering and a MH or floros are best for seedlings/veg stage.
