ok at the bottom of the stem, were it just goes into the soil, it is turning brown. this is the same for the other plant which is in the same pot. i heard about this somwhere and i think its called stem rot. i think its caused by over watering. also the small oval shaped leaves are starting to yellow and on one plant they have totally dried off and died. could this be related to stem rot too? please help thanks

Yes you have overwatered. You have drowu\ned you plants root system. The soil is saturated and air can't get to the roots. Plant more seeds and try again. cannibis slike light soil that drains well. Without it your plants are doomed.

thanks. is there anything i can do now? because seeds are kind of hard to come by here.

just don't water it
