I was wondering what kind of detrimental effects hard water would have on my plants, and what you could do to fix your problem if you have one.

Hard water is heavy with lime, which might play with your pH. It probably wouldn't cause too many problems. If you can stomach it then the plant should also be able to take it in. Not too easily though.

Filters aren't too hard to find. Distilled/Filtered water should always be used for indoor cultivation. You can get one at a supermarket.

For outdoors, try to use natural water.
