| Well, I definately have some kind of bug. From others' descriptions, I believe them to be spider mites. Here's what I have so far: Plant was doing great, nice and green, then the top set of leaves started to develop brown spots. Then, the middle set of leaves started to turn *pale* yellow, and are currently about to fall off. In just about every little crook where a brach shoots out there are webs, and my husband says he saw little red bugs (I have yet to see the suckers, but I have bad eyes). So, I'm going to try the soapy water and tobacco tea suggestions I've seen posted here, and see if that'll help, but I still have a few questions. 1: how long will it take for them to go away? 2: how can I prevent this from happening again? so far, only my original plant is infested, but I just started a tray of seedlings and don't want them damaged. 3: can I go ahead and flower now? she's been ready to flower for some time now, but I wasn't sure if was a good idea to do so while she was ill, so I've been waiting. Should I hold off on flowering until the bugs are gone, or until she's completely better, or can I go ahead and flower now? 4: what should I give her after the bugs are gone to make her healthy again? Thanks for any help given~ DrChronic ![]() | ||

| Definitely spidermites. If what you use works the ones that you kill die immediately. As for preventing it, too late for that, now it's a matter of control in most cases. Usually it's an ongoing battle. Go ahead and flower, the damaged areas won't recover. The only thing to keep them healthy is to keep the bug populations down, keep killing em. Good luck D9 | ||
