Hello all,

I have two marijuana plants currently growing. They sprouted about a week ago, and as you can imagine, i was very excited. I have had a lot of problems in the past, mostly because i tried to take care of them too much, and i killed them. So this time i vowed that i wouldn't over take care of them.
And i haven't, but i am still have a very similar problem that i was having before on one of my plants. infact it was the first plant to come up, and it grew really fast with two nice jagged leaves, and the cotyledons look very heathy as well. until yesterday. i noticed that on one of the jagged leaves it started to turn yellow and curl up, and today it's gotten a little bit worse. the other jagged leave seems to be okay right now, but it does have very small yellow spots on it, just the the cotyledons on that plant, and on my other ones.

I'm thinking i'm over fertilizing, i'm using Miracle-gro tomatoes, as i've heard it works amazing. Does anyone have any suggestions? All help will definatly be appreciated.

Thanx,

Ryan666

Yep... you are answering your own questions
Don't use any ferts for the first few weeks anyway. If you are growing soilless then be sure the ferts are very diluted. Wait until the get bigger to feed them then use 1/4 strength and you can try to build it up from there If usewd as recommended they are gonna be toast

....forgot the ferted soil you are using is not a good thing since it already has ferts in it and you are adding more you are goingto either kill them quick or kill them slow

hello all!

thanx alot guys... just after i posted the message i decided to get rid of all the fertilizer/water mix that was in the bottom of my container (my plants are in containers within a container, so that they can suck the water up from the bottom, removing alot of watering effor). yah so i got rid of all possible traces of fert. and then i dumped my mircacle-gro solution and replaced it with filtered water from my britta in my fridge. i then sprayed the soil base of the plants so that it will flush (hopefully) all the fert. out of the soil. that was on sunday and now it's monday, and i've already noticed a health improvement. the leaves were starting to droop, but now they're perking up again.

thanx alot guys, i have great hopes for my two plants right now!

Peace ya'll!

Another problem. Get rid of the two container deal... You can do this but you must have the proper medium. MJ roots can't sit in still water or wet soil or they'll rot. It can't be that much effort, or if you are that lazy you may as well buy your weed. Also it will take more than a spray to leach the soil out.

ohh.. i think you misunderstood me, but thanx for the suggestion anyway. what i meant to say was that i have the pot plants planted in those black containers that you buy plants at a store, they have 6 small slots which will hold 1 plant each for about 3-4 weeks of growing, which will allow me to transplant with extreme ease. but yeah, i meant to say that i have a tray underneath that i pour a little bit of bottled spring water in, so that it can suck up water whenever it needs it. because i am not home alot, usually at school or out with friends. oh, and i didn't spray the soil once, i am spraying it 5-6 times, several times a day, i'm almost positive that all of my nutrient solution has been drained out.

I have a question, that will prepare me for the future. right now my plants are very small and the stem is thin, but it's sufficient to hold up the cotyledons and the two real leaves. but i am curious on the best way to produce extremely strong stems, because i live in canada, and in a very region.

thanx

How often would you say that i should water them then? I give them a couple squirts with the mister at their soil base and on the actual plants too, just a few times a day. They're not swimming in water.
