| Today i checked on my plants and there was HUGE holes in the first couple of leaves. They didn't occur naturaly either. This is not a good thing considering i topped them 2 days ago (on the second set too) and there was a bad thunderstorm the other night wich left most of them on the ground for a day. What the f**k is going this to my babies? How can i stop this? I am soo worried because everyhting has come down on them at once. I hope they make it. | Either there is moisture on the leaves, or you have bugs. If you foliar feed, remove your plant(s) from any light/heat source before foliar feeding, and then wait about 5-10 mins before returning them to light, so that the leaves can dry. Any moisture on the leaves will act as a magnifying glass for that light, and will burn a hole in the leaf. To get rid of bugs, make this special "tea": Place one pouch of loose tobacco in one gallon hot water. Add one tablespoon chili powder, and one tablespoon cayenne pepper. Shake/stir well, and let it steep until the water cools. Then, strain some through a filter, like a coffee filter (don't try to do it all at once- it goes *really* slow and will take *forever* if you try to do the whole gallon at once). For about one cup of liquid, add 4-5 drops of dish soap. Now, just *gently* wipe your plant(s) with this solution- top and bottom of leaves, in the crook where the branch shoots out, and the stem too, just to be on the safe side. Keep your plant(s) away from light for about 5-10 mins so that it can all dry off- don't want to create more holes! You may need to re-apply every so often, and none of these ingredients will harm your plant. Just be careful when adding that cayenne though! and don't get any up your nose- it burns, and you'll be sneezing for an hour! DrChronic ![]() | ||
